Our Team at Briarfield House are selected not only for their experience and qualifications but also for their caring approach. Each client has their own Care Plan ensuring that each individual’s personal needs are met at all times.

Training
Briarfield House recognises the value of staff training and individual development of skills and abilities. All our staff are trained to NVQ level 2 and/or NVQ level 3 in care.

Each employee has a regular series of supervision and appraisal reviews with the Home Manager, in which performance is monitored and training needs identified.

All care staff receive up to date training over and above mandatory requirements including the following:

 Infection Control
 Food Handling and Hygiene
 Care Planning
 First Aid
 Fire Safety
 Health and Safety at Work
